Give details of your previous employment or experience which you think would help you to do this job. (required): I have worked in care for many years..Assisting service user with all aspects of their care needs,I have had experience working with all different aspects of care from personal assistance to mental health. Over the lat few years I have worked on a one to one basis with a service user within her home.

What qualities do you think are important when working as a personal assistant with a disabled person? (required): I belive person centered care is the most important thing when caring for anyone so to have the quality to listen to what a person wants, to be patient, to help problem solve and help overcome barriers, to listen and to be kind and caring.

How do you think you can contribute towards the needs and the independence of a disabled person? (required): I belive I can contribute due to the fact that I have also worked within a care agency setting, I belive that this has helped me expect the unexpected and adapt to any situation I am given, it has also shown me that care is about the need of the individual.

What is it about PA work which appeals to you? (required): What makes PA work appeal to me is that u get to know the person you are Assisting, u also get to time to understand their needs and what makes them happy and how they like things to be done.

What are your hobbies/interests? (required): My hobbie is learning new things, I am in university part time doing a social senice and mental health course, I have 3 children witch I love to go and watch films with, also when I have spare time I enjoy being around family and friends.
