All of which I will be able to bring to this caring job. I am a former primary school teacher that still does agency work and I also run my own gardening business. I have previously worked for Dewis as a P.A and am drawn to work again as a P.A as I feel I have a lot to give and it is a satisfying job, which is important to me. I’m a confident driver and have excellent domestic skills (I’m a mother of two children) My kids are really into Lego and we all make things and love watching Lego masters. I’m fun and silly and love animals we have three cats and a dog. I love the outdoors and would love to take the dog out for a walk! I’m a fast learner and happy to carry out any tasks required.

What qualities do you think are important when working as a personal assistant with a disabled person? (required): To be myself and treat the client as I treat everyone with- Care Gentleness Compassion Humour Dignity Respect

How do you think you can contribute towards the needs and the independence of a disabled person? (required): If I can assist somebody that needs extra help accessing the world around them then I will do so in a laid back understanding and respectful way.
What is it about PA work which appeals to you? (required): I have found care work and PA work very rewarding in the past. I have a caring and giving nature and PA work uses my skills and personality well. I find this kind of work satisfying and love working one to one with people.
