Give details of your previous employment or experience which you think would help you to do this job. (required): Although I don’t have any previous experience as a personal assistant I truly believe I would be a great fit for this Job, I have previous experience as a chef and would love to share my skills in the kitchen with someone else and with meal prep I think this would be a great skill to have. I’m young but I grew up with a big family and have a lot of nieces and nephews and look after them and help my siblings regularly. I have great social skills and can get on with anyone. I’m extremely reliable and hard working and very flexible which would be a great fit for this job

What qualities do you think are important when working as a personal assistant with a disabled person? (required): I think while remaining a professional relationship with the person you are assisting, I believe there has to be a level of friendship and trust to make it a good fit. I would be coming into their home, helping with baby and I think it’s so important that they feel comfortable with you

How do you think you can contribute towards the needs and the independence of a disabled person? (required): I am a very independent person and understand the feeling of being able to do things for yourself, while helping in anyway they need I will also help them keep as much independence as possible, I can cook and clean very well, I’m kind, caring and think i’d be a great assistant making sure I make them feel as comfortable as I can.

What is it about PA work which appeals to you? (required): I have always thrived in situations of helping others, wether that be my family my friends and I would love to help someone not only with the simple things like cooking and cleaning but help them make the most of what life has to offer for both themselves and their little one.

What are your hobbies/interests? (required): I love to be outside in the fresh air, from taking walks with the dogs to being in the garden with my nieces and nephews, I like to read in my spare time. I cook a lot for myself and my mum as she finds it difficult to cook all the time so I batch cook to ensure we always have food on the table. I love being around my family and friends, I like going to the gym and keeping active and looking after myself.
