(required): What I think is important when working as a personal assistant with a disabled person is being patient, calm and not rushing even when things need to be taken with extra time. Another important thing is showing kindness by treating the person with respect and care. Furthermore another way is being a good listener which this can lead me to be paying attention to what the person wants at anytime when needed. Lastly I would show some privacy and trust when it comes to looking after my person. How do you think you can contribute towards the needs and the independence of a disabled person? (required): They way that I would contribute towards these needs and the independence of a disabled person is always being supportive of them, listen to what they want, and always communicate to them very clearly. What is it about PA work which appeals to you? (required): What appeals to me about being a personal assistant is always helping someone directly, building a true strong relationship where communication is key and clear to understand each others needs, and supporting their independence so that they can live their life the way that they want but not they way others decide for them. What are your hobbies/interests?
