Give details of your previous employment or experience which you think would help you to do this job. (required): I believe I would be well suited to this role, as I have previous experience working in a special needs school and in holiday clubs supporting both neurotypical and neurodivergent children. I am currently pursuing studies in a healthcare profession, which has further strengthened my ability to provide compassionate, person-centred care and support to individuals with diverse needs.

What qualities do you think are important when working as a personal assistant with a disabled person? (required): Being a personal assistant for a disabled individual requires patience, empathy, and strong communication skills. It’s important to be reliable, respectful, and adaptable to the individual’s needs, while promoting their dignity, independence, and inclusion.

How do you think you can contribute towards the needs and the independence of a disabled person? (required): I believe I can contribute positively to supporting the needs and independence of a disabled person through my previous experience working in a special needs school and holiday clubs with both neurotypical and neurodivergent children. These roles have strengthened my ability to provide patient, person-centred support while encouraging confidence and autonomy. Alongside my current healthcare studies, I’m committed to promoting dignity, independence, and inclusion in all aspects of care.

What is it about PA work which appeals to you? (required): Personal assistant work appeals to me because I enjoy making a positive difference in people’s lives. I find it rewarding to provide support that helps others feel empowered, valued, and more independent in their daily lives.

What are your hobbies/interests? (required): In my free time, I enjoy going for walks and spending time with my friends and family. I value staying active and maintaining strong, positive relationships with the people around me.
