Give details of your previous employment or experience which you think would help you to do this job. (required): I have previously worked in care settings with people needing different kinds of assistance, like hygiene and toilet, food and feeding, dressing and use of wheelchairs and similar.

What qualities do you think are important when working as a personal assistant with a disabled person? (required): To be good listener to understand what is needed from you as an assistant, to be respectful and always make sure the person feels dignified.

How do you think you can contribute towards the needs and the independence of a disabled person? (required): I’m a caring and thoughtful person who is keen to help when I can, I’m a quick learner and will ask questions to make sure I can support in the best possible way.

What is it about PA work which appeals to you? (required): I have previously worked in care settings but in care homes with more than one person, so interested in trying something new. It has also been a few years since I worked in this area of work so keen to do something different.

What are your hobbies/interests? (required): I am a creative person who like to do different crafts, at the moment I’m mainly in to mending my own clothes with embroidery and using a sewing machine. I am involved the local repair cafe and litterpicking group and like seeing friends, going for walks, eating Asian food and go treasure hunting in charity shops.
