What qualities do you think are important when working as a personal assistant with a disabled person? (required): I always put the individual at the centre of their support, respecting their choices, independence, and dignity. I am a calm and patient person with a lot of empathy.

How do you think you can contribute towards the needs and the independence of a disabled person? (required): I believe I can contribute positively to a disabled person’s needs and independence by providing support that is person-centred, respectful, and empowering. My approach is always to help someone live the life they choose, not to take over or make decisions for them. Understanding their individual routines, preferences, and goals, and adapting my support to fit their lifestyle. Offering practical help with daily activities such as organizing appointments, household tasks, and community access.
