Give details of your previous employment or experience which you think would help you to do this job. (required): § Supporting and helping service users with daily care needed such as administering medications, bathing, feeding and other support required. § Supporting service users’ in line with their care plan and keeping up to date records of their daily medications and activities. § Supporting service users’ having mobility problems and learning difficulties. § Helping service users’ to organise and participate in recreational activities. § Taking service users’ out for visit. § Supporting adult patient from bed, feeding, and chatting with them. § Supporting adult patient to go for walk within the ward. § Encouraging adult patient when feeling worried and giving them hope. 

 
What qualities do you think are important when working as a personal assistant with a disabled person? (required): I believe it is important to be able to work flexibly, have good communication skills in order to listen to peoples concerns. I believe it is always important to respect peoples dignity and to be willing to learn new and innovative ways to offer support. 

 
How do you think you can contribute towards the needs and the independence of a disabled person? (required): Enabling the people we support to make independent decisions and actively involve them in decision-making on their day to day tasks such as meals, where to visit on trips what to wear. 

 
What is it about PA work which appeals to you? (required): I am focused with a genuine interest to deliver high quality care to service users and support them in their areas of need with my experience in the care. I have experience in the care which has helped me to provide tailored patient care for service users’ and meeting their daily needs. I am able to perform basic health checks including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse without supervision. I have the skills to provide healthcare excellence with your reputable nursing home. I am committed to complying with safety rules and follow your organisational procedures and protocols.
