I always took care to ensure that patients felt comfortable and supported during these tasks. Administering medications: As a healthcare assistant, I was responsible for administering medications to patients under the supervision of a nurse or physician. I followed all necessary protocols and procedures to ensure patient safety. · Monitoring vital signs: In my role as a healthcare assistant, I was responsible for monitoring and recording patients vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature. I was always vigilant and attentive to any changes or abnormalities Assisting with patient mobility: One of my key responsibilities as a healthcare assistant was helping patients move around safely, using techniques such as transferring, lifting, and repositioning. I always used the proper techniques and equipment to ensure patient safety and comfort. Providing emotional support: As a healthcare assistant, I provided emotional support to patients and their families, helping to alleviate anxiety and provide comfort during difficult times. I listened actively, empathized with patients,
