Give details of your previous employment or experience which you think would help you to do this job. (required): I have all my GCSE qualifications. A GNVQ in health and social care, year 1 of NNEB in nursery nursing, NVQ level 3 in customer service, and have recently finished my level 3 in teaching and learning. I am awaiting for this work to be marked.


What qualities do you think are important when working as a personal assistant with a disabled person? (required): I am friendly, I have a good sense of humour and not easily offended. I have experience with special needs children and young teens as i work as a special needs teaching assistant. I am calm and when I get to know someone I try my best to eliminate triggers of behaviour.


How do you think you can contribute towards the needs and the independence of a disabled person? (required): I work with disabled children and young adults. I help them remain as independent as they can, and encourage them to take part in activities. I offer support and help when needed.


What is it about PA work which appeals to you? (required): Helping people is be independent appeals to me. Everyone has a right to live life and being able to help someone love their best life is a great thing to do.


What are your hobbies/interests?: I love spending time with my own family. I have two daughters who are in high school. We go to the cinema and for walks to the beach. I love visiting my mother and spending time with her.
