What qualities do you think are important when working as a personal assistant with a disabled person? (required): A good personal assistant should be able to help a disabled person with medical appointments and medication. A personal Assistant should assist with bathing, dressing, and other personal hygiene. Help with transport to destinations of their choice and going out under the watchful eyes of the personal assistant. Assist with some household chores such as washing, ironing, cooking, and cleaning. A personal assistant is a primary person in charge of the welfare and security of the disabled person as much as possible. A personal Assistant should also help with shopping, run errands and provide a helping hand to enable the disabled person to enjoy his or her life as much as possible. etc. 

How do you think you can contribute towards the needs and the independence of a disabled person? (required): Make friends with them and make them fill worthy and self-confident. Encourage them with constant interactions and associations with other people. Inspire them by appreciating every little effort they put in and every little progress they make. Be supportive of disabled people and not control them. Encourage them to make decisions so they feel in charge. Creating a sense of belonging and encouraging the disabled to take part in communication engagements. etc. 

What is it about PA work which appeals to you? (required): I am a compassionate person who takes pleasure in helping the less privileged people, the disabled, the sick and the elderly, etc. This could be seen in my different volunteering efforts to assist different people at different times in my career back home in Nigeria. 

What are your hobbies/interests?: Reading, Singing, Playing chess, indoor exercise, and watching football
